DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP IF I’M NOT SURE THAT I WANT TO JOIN?
We do not require a membership at all. We believe in the power of choice! Our memberships are month to month. Join for a month, if you don't like it (we hope that's not the case!), you are free to go! Your mandatory FOUNDATIONS course is included in your first month (most other gyms charge for this separately!) Want a free taste of CrossFit? Come to a community workout on Saturday or drop in to any class to watch the magic happen!
I HAVEN’T HIT THE GYM IN YEARS. HOW CAN I GET BACK INTO A ROUTINE?
Whether you are a gym rat or have never stepped foot in a gym - we are here to help! We believe there is an athlete in every human being. Our programming and scalability of load and intensity allows us to coach people of all ages and fitness levels.
I HAVE HEARD CROSSFIT IS DANGEROUS. IS THAT TRUE?
Those who have said that have not had the right coach. Coaches should keep you safe by focusing on proper form and proper load. We believe in a lifetime of fitness and put your health and safety before anything else. P.S. A sedentary lifestyle is dangerous.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN A CLASS?
Each hour long class will include:
a warm up specific to the day's workout (activation), coached skill and technique work, a strength component, a WOD (work out of the day) - varied combination of strength and conditioning ad we end it all with the all important mobility. We pride ourselves on educating along the way. You'll learn why we are doing what we are doing and why it is good for you!
WHAT IF MY SPECIALTY IS ENDURANCE OR STRENGTH?
We believe true fitness comes from a combination of metabolic strength and condition, which makes you stronger and faster. Our program compliments marathon runners and power lifters alike.
YOUR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP IS HIGHER THAN MOST GYMS. WHY?
We believe in CrossFit so much, we wish we could offer this service for free to everyone! However, operating costs prevent that! We have offered CrossFit to the community far below our competitors. The average CrossFit box charges above $150/mo. We kept our plans so that no class is more than $10/session.  At Kinetic Grit CrossFit you are getting a certified, qualified coach to provide every member personal attention and modifications during every class to ensure success. It is like having a personal trainer, but in a small group setting. We monitor progress to see how your body is developing and adapting. We work with you and your goals specifically to attain your goals. We teach you how to use your body as the powerful machine that it is. Rest assured your programming cycles will keep your body and mind engaged.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMMING - WHY IS IT EFFECTIVE?
This is where we shine! While we all like to torch calories, our workouts are not put together in a hurry or haphazardly. We run on annual cycles to keep your body and mind challenged. Using methodologies designed by some of the world's top athletes, we see continuous improvement.

Training cycles are a few weeks long and include:
- foundational strength which incorporates squat training and overhead strength
​
- stamina strength which uses unilateral dumbbell work to improve positioning and barbell cycling
​
- mechanics and techniques of olympic lifts
- gymnastic skills which follows progressions for muscle ups, hand stand push ups and other gymnastic movements
I AM A HIGHSCHOOL ATHLETE. IS THIS GOOD FOR ME?
YES!  CrossFit successfully supplements traditional strength and conditioning programs. CrossFit can help you develop and maintain your gains all year round. We can program strength and conditioning programs from every sport from cheerleading to football! Also, tell your parents that studies show exercise also makes you smarter. Ask us about team specials. Not on a sports team? CrossFit is a great way to bring out your inner athlete in a team setting.
DO YOU OFFER A DAYCARE?
Not yet, but we are working towards that! Kids can still come and use the lounge area while mom and dad work out, at your own risk. We are family friendly! (And our insurance company lets us do it!)
I AM READY TO GET STARTED. WHAT DO I DO?
Email, call, check us out on facebook...you are ready for the FOUNDATIONS course (required 4 sessions to learn the basic movements to become comfortable and safe with the basic technique in skills and movements) that prepares you to join the group class.
WHY DO I SEE PEOPLE USING WRIST WRAPS, BELTS AND SPECIAL SHOES?
CrossFit is pretty minimal as far as equipment goes. You can come as you are and will be just fine! Wrist wraps, belts and lifting shoes can help with your lifts. Ask a coach for more details
I HAVE SOME FRIENDS VISITING. DO YOU OFFER GUEST PASSES?
We offer a $20 drop in fee for experienced crossfitters. We also offer a free community work out every Saturday - you do not have to be experienced to join in.
HOW DO I RESERVE MY SPOT?
Due to COVID occupancy restrictions, we have implemented a reservation system. Download our check in app to reserve your class daily. Our maximum capacity at this time is 15 people.
WHAT KIND OF TECHNOLOGY DO YOU USE?
Most importantly, we use the Push Press app for you check-ins and billing. Please use it if you think you might be working out that day. We use SugarWod to track our work-outs. You will be able to see the work out the night before and be able to track your progress.
WHAT IS THE POWER AND CONDITIONING CLASS?
The 3:30 class is programmed for athletes with a focus on having more explosive power and speed. Although focused on the highschool athletes, anyone is welcome. There is a strength component that focuses primarily on squat, deadlift, press and bench followed by a conditioning work out. The program has flexibility and agility work to compliment the strength and conditioning.
